You're good at what you do. The problem is nobody can find you.
When Someone Asks AI Who to Hire, Is Your Business in the Answer?
^ let's find out
Bring your laptop. In this live 75-minute working session, we'll check what ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI say about your business, figure out what those answers are telling us, and start your priority fix list together.

Taught by Kathy Sizemore. 30 years running a service-based business, not a content brand.
Don't take my word for it. Test it right now.
Somewhere in your city this week, a homeowner's water heater gave out.
She didn't scroll through ten blue links. She opened her phone and asked, "Who should I call to fix this?"
The AI gave her one name. She called that business.
That was the whole search.
So try it yourself. Open ChatGPT or Perplexity and ask: "Who is the best [what you do] in [your city]?"
If it names your business, wonderful. Go enjoy your afternoon.
If it names your competitor, keep reading, because I need to tell you what I found when I asked that question about my own company.
The front door is moving
You already know the referral math. Your clients love you, they tell their friends, and that has carried your business for years.
For twenty years, the answer to that cap was Google. Get found in search, and strangers could become clients.
That front door is moving.
People are asking AI tools for recommendations the way they used to ask a neighbor, and the AI doesn't pull its answers from thin air. It pulls from what's published, structured, and citable about you.
If AI can't find evidence that you're the expert, it recommends someone who published theirs.
That's the part that stings. The recommendation engine doesn't know who's actually good. It knows who's findable.
A less experienced competitor with better-structured content gets handed the client you deserved, and neither of you ever knows it happened.
Every month this goes unchecked, the answers harden. AI tools cite the same sources over and over.
The longer you wait, the more the answer belongs to someone else.
If you've ever felt like the best-kept secret in your industry, this is where that either ends or gets permanent.
Your revenue is capped by the size of your network and the memory of the people who already know you exist.
Why this matters
For years, established businesses have grown through referrals, reputation, relationships, Google, and good old-fashioned word of mouth.
Those things still matter.
Now people have another place to ask for help.
AI.
They can ask: "Who should I hire?" "Who specializes in this?" "Who's good at this near me?"
And AI starts narrowing the field.
Being excellent at what you do doesn't automatically mean an AI tool knows enough about your business to recommend you.
It needs information it can find and understand.
Who you are. What you do. Who you help. Where you work. What you're known for.
That work has a name. AEO.
What happens in the 75 minutes
AEO, Answer Engine Optimization, sounds more technical than it needs to be. It's the work of making your business easy for AI systems to find, understand, and cite when someone asks a question you could answer.
This session is where you start that work. It's a working session, not a lecture. You'll have your phone out twice.
You'll find your baseline, live.
Five minutes in, you'll ask AI about your own business and screenshot the answer. Whatever it says, that screenshot is your starting line, and everything we do gets measured against it.
You'll learn the four things AI checks before it recommends anybody.
Clear content, local signals, reviews it can actually use, and structured data. All four are within reach without an agency, and I'll show you exactly what each one looks like done right.
You'll hear the four tactics people will sell you that Google says to skip.
Google published its official guidance on this in May 2026. Some of what's being sold right now, in expensive agency packages, contradicts that document directly. I've read it so you don't have to, and I'll show you the source so you can check me.
You'll learn the review ask that works and keeps you on the right side of the FTC.
Most review advice quietly violates a federal rule with fines up to $51,744 per violation. The compliant version is easy. You just have to know it.
You'll score your business out of 10, live.
Five checks, two points each. Most rooms land between 2 and 4, mine included the first time. Your score tells you exactly which fix comes first.
You'll leave with your first 30 minutes planned.
Not a someday strategy. Tonight, this week, this month. You don't need a marketing team. You need 30 minutes and your phone.
Not a theory deck
I didn't start as a content creator trying to teach business owners how to run a business.
I spent nearly 30 years running a service-based business.
I struggled with marketing. I struggled with social media that did nothing for the bottom line.
And I have no patience for advice that sounds good in a webinar but falls apart on a busy Tuesday.
What that business taught me is that search and findability changed. It's not an ad in the phone book anymore.
You have to be findable. And now you have to be findable by AI.
That's why I teach this. Not viral. Findable.
You don't need everybody to know your name. You need the right person to be able to find you when they're looking for what you know.
I track AI citations monthly for my own businesses, and I built the checklists and audits I use on my own companies first.

I ran this audit on my own business first
A-Bell Alarms is my family's security company. Founded in 1971, serving the Temecula Valley since 1985. My husband Chris still personally handles every installation. We're a licensed California alarm company with the kind of track record you'd think would speak for itself.
Some of what the audit found was good news. ChatGPT cited us correctly on four out of five queries. Our years in the valley showed up as a trust signal.
And then I asked Perplexity for the best security company in Temecula.
It ranked us second. Behind a company with 110 reviews to our 13. A company that isn't even a licensed alarm company in California.
AI doesn't check credentials. It counts signals.
Fifty-five years of doing great work is invisible to AI if the signals aren't there. The good news: the signals are fixable. That's what this session is for.
I run the same check on my consulting business monthly. The last time I asked a web-enabled ChatGPT who Kathy Sizemore is, it got the whole story right, backed by sources I don't control. Its exact words: "You are findable." There are also searches I don't win yet, and I'll show you a couple of those too, because watching what's working and what isn't is the whole method.
"This was simply incredible! Opened up a lead generation strategy that I knew nothing about! Kathy Sizemore is knowledgeable, well-prepared with the materials, and presented a well-rounded plan for success! This gets 5 stars out of 5!"
After Kathy's visibility workshop for the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce
"Kathy Sizemore really knows her stuff when it comes to gaining more visibility and credibility using YouTube and AI! Every entrepreneur will leave with a tremendous gift she leaves with you."

SAVE MY SEAT — $57Who this is for
Service-based business owners. The plumber, the bookkeeper, the security installer, the landscaper, the esthetician, the consultant.
If your customers ask "who should I hire" and you'd like AI's answer to be your name, this session was built for you.
Who it's not for: agencies hunting for tactics to resell, and anyone hoping there's a magic file to upload that fixes everything. There isn't. That file is actually one of the myths we'll cover.
The price and the honest math
$57.
Priced low enough that a business owner wearing all the hats doesn't have to think hard about it, and just enough that you'll show up and actually do the two exercises.
That's the whole pricing strategy. The value's in the doing.
For comparison: a done-for-you visibility audit runs $497 and up, agencies charge four figures a month to manage AI visibility for you, and getting the review ask wrong can cost $51,744 per violation.
Learning to run the check yourself costs $57 and one morning.
As for the date: Q4 starts two days later. If October, November, and December matter to your business, I'd rather have you walk into them knowing what AI says about your business than guessing.
The clock on this page counts down to a real event. The live session happens once, and the working part, your results on your screen and me there while you look at them, doesn't transfer to a replay.

Ninety days from now, you'll open your phone and ask the same question you asked today. "Who is the best [what you do] in [your city]?"
The answer is being written right now, by the signals your business is or isn't sending. The businesses that show up in AI answers a year from now are the ones doing this work this year, while their competitors assume the old game still works.
The best business in your city should be you. AI agents are already making the call. Make sure they're calling you.
A few honest answers
Is AEO just SEO with a new name?
The people who say that aren't wrong about the fundamentals. Google's own guidance says the same skills apply. Here's the difference: SEO was built for a world where Google showed your customer ten links. AEO is about a world where AI gives your customer one answer. The skills overlap. The stakes don't. And Google's guide only speaks for Google. Your customers are also asking ChatGPT and Perplexity, which behave differently. My own audit proved it.
What's the difference between AEO and GEO?
You'll hear this called AEO, GEO, sometimes AIO. It's the same discipline wearing different name tags, and no, despite what some presenters claim, Google has not crowned an official term. What matters is whether AI names your business when your customer asks. That's what we work on.
Do I need a YouTube channel or a big following?
No. Here's the stat that surprises everyone: there's almost zero correlation between subscriber count and whether AI cites a video. Small channels get cited as often as big ones. AI cares whether your content answers the question, not how famous you are. We'll talk about what that means for you.
I'm not technical. Will I keep up?
If you can take a screenshot, you can do everything in this session. The one technical piece, schema, comes as a page you hand to whoever runs your website. You never touch code.
What if I can't attend live?
The replay arrives within 24 hours and the AEO Action Kit works at your own pace. But the two exercises are the point of the session, and the replay can't answer your questions back. Block the time if you can.
Are you going to pitch me something at the end?
Yes, briefly and honestly. In the last few minutes I'll show you two ways I can help further if you want help with the YouTube piece. No countdown to a fake deadline, no "doors closing forever." The workshop stands on its own whether you ever spend another dollar with me. That's how I do things.
Is there a refund?
No refund on this one. Because the replay and the AEO Action Kit are included the moment you register, purchases are final. If that math doesn't feel comfortable, this probably isn't your workshop, and that's okay.
