The Journey Behind My Work

I know what it feels like to be the steady one — the business owner, the volunteer, the leader, and still wonder if anyone really sees you.

For years, I wore all the hats as a small business owner,  running a family business with my husband, raising kids, homeschooling, volunteering, and serving my community. Like many entrepreneurs, I gave my best and still felt invisible at times.

That’s when I learned: visibility isn’t about being louder, trendier, or chasing every algorithm. It’s about building presence that lasts.

Like many small business owners, I wore all the hats. I was stuck on the social media hamster wheel — creating posts and reels that disappeared in 24 hours. It was exhausting, and it wasn’t growing my business.

That’s when I turned to YouTube. Unlike short-form content, YouTube is evergreen. It works while you rest. Videos keep attracting views, building trust, and generating leads long after you hit publish.

One video I filmed about dorm room security over a year ago is still bringing in views and even affiliate income today. That’s the kind of visibility I want for you — consistent, sustainable, and strategic.

I’m not just a coach, speaker, and small business owner, I’m also:

☕ A die-hard coffee lover (my favorite mug literally says Choose Happy, because some mornings, that’s a choice).

🎬 A YouTube fangirl long before I became a strategist. I love how one video can spark conversations years later.

👩‍👩‍👦 A proud mom who still sneaks into my kids’ lives with safety tips (they pretend to roll their eyes, but they listen).

💃 The one in the bold jacket or dress. Life’s too short for boring clothes.

🏕 A lifelong Scouter who knows how to start a campfire and lead a committee meeting.

🎤 An award-winning speaker and PR pro, but happiest when I’m helping others shine.

🏆 My favorite award? The Unsung Hero Award, given by my Rotary Club president for editing YouTube videos that kept our projects visible and helped others shine in the spotlight. It taught me that visibility isn’t always about being the one in front of the camera, it’s also about knowing how to use tools like YouTube to shine a light on the bigger story.

At the end of the day, I’m a mix of strategist, storyteller, and community cheerleader. As your YouTube Strategist & Visibility Coach, I believe visibility doesn’t have to mean being loud or perfect, it means being you, showing up with confidence, and letting people see the leader you already are.

  • I’m a wife, mom, and longtime Rotarian in Temecula, deeply rooted in service, leadership, and community impact.

  • I once ran for city council (turns out politics wasn’t my path, but purpose is).

  • I’ve built and scaled my own business for nearly 30 years—while raising kids, homeschooling, and reinventing myself more than once.

  • I’m fueled by iced coffee, color-coded planners, and cheering on women who’ve been sidelined or silenced for far too long.

  • My coaching style? Grounded, encouraging, and just rebellious enough to challenge the status quo, especially for Gen X women who are done playing small.

  • These days, you’ll usually find me with a notebook in one hand and a mic in the other, helping women turn their stories into something that actually makes a difference.
